On the Yellowstone Trail. In 1914, the Yellowstone Trail Published a large format 96-page soft cover book as their "First Year Book." It documents the founding of the Trail, describes the first meetings of the association, gives the world history of roads, and gives detailed maps of the Trail from Minneapolis to the Yellowstone National Park. This sign is nn longer available because of cost increases. A new sign
is in development that will have a reflective background and heavier aluminum. It should be available in March 2008.

This is the 18" by 24" official reflective highway marker sign being used by communities along the Trail. It is made by a sign company that makes regular road signs for highway departments. Yellowstone Trail Aluminum Road Signs 12" wide x 12" tall. These reflective signs are of the same quality as the 18" by 24" road sign. The arrow cannot be directed other than straight up. The intended use is as a "confirming" sign after a turn marked with the larger sign or in a longer run of the Trail without turns. $13.95
