This is a list of towns along the Yellowstone Trail in Idaho. They are arranged from east to west. Mileages are from Minneapolis as recorded in the 1920's and are listed here as an approximate indication of modern distances. Added to this list will be information about historic buildings, bridges, and sites. [The Mile-by-Mile pages are just being developed (Spring 2005) and will contain minimal information for some time.]

The site can be reached from Interstate 90 east of Coeur d'Alene by taking the Wolf Lodge/Harrison exit; turning left and crossing
1-90, then left onto the Yellowstone Trail. Travel west and north approximately 2.5 miles along the Yellowstone Trail (which turns to
gravel at the top of the hill) and descend to the head of Blue Creek Bay. Turn left at the county dumpster site onto the Landing Road
and proceed about 0.8 mile to the new recreation site. For additional information call the BLM at (208) 769-5000
