The Yellowstone Trail Association meets its goals through the efforts of volunteers. There are no paid staff members nor does the Association own any offices or equipment.
Your dues and donations are used only for the following:
1) Printing
2) Some of the operating costs, like maintaining the web site (still mostly donated!)
3) Postage (again much of it has been donated) and
4) Reimbursement of the some of the travel expenses necessary to forward the purposes of the Association
5) Promotional materials used in national and local events, and
6) In the near future, we are especially interested in creating kiosks and other displays to met our goal of informing people about the YT and its history. Major contributions can be designated for this purpose. Discuss the potential with the Executive Director, Mark Mowbray, mmowbray@yellowstonetrail.org
Road markers (signs) are paid for by the local community or organization sponsoring the markers.
The Research function is undertaken solely by volunteers.
To grow and make the Trail better known we need your help. Your donation, regardless of size will be used with care frugality.
